The Audiences
Looking at this chart, we see that the largest age group who watch films the most are 16-24 and 25-34. Because of this, my group and I are going to aim our film opening at these age groups. We will do this by following the conventions of a 15 or over PEGI rated thriller/horror film.

As our film is a horror/thriller, we want as many viewers as possible. To do this we will feature characters that relate to the highest number of audience members; these characters will be that of the LGBTQ+ Community to appeal to the audience.

From this chart we can see that the public have an interest in horror/thriller films and therefore the choice to make a horror/thriller opening was a good idea as our views are guaranteed to be high. The film will have a some-what large popularity because of the high demand of this genre of films.
